If one were to make a Mt. Rushmore of who they believe is the best and/or the face of their respective sport — and for this exercise we will consider the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL — it would likely be a difficult question to answer.
It’s not naming your favorite player in each league. That would likely be easier.
Rather, it’s more difficult to narrow down who would be the top name everyone thinks of when they think of a certain league, such as a “Family Feud” survey.
In most cases, at least a half dozen or a handful of players could be considered the face of their profession.
