Erin Andrews opened up about a painful skin issue she’s dealing with.
During the latest installment of the “Calm Down’ podcast, the Fox Sports veteran NFL sideline reporter explained that she’s working through a pre-skin cancer issue on her upper lip.
“It is so crusty and it really hurts,” Andrews, 46, said.
“Don’t touch that!” said co-host Charissa Thompson, who is also a Fox Sports host and Andrews’ best friend.
“For those of you that are new, Erin’s working through some… an issue on her upper lip, but it’s not what you think it is,” Thompson, 42, said.
“It’s a pre-skin cancer situation. I did a cream for five days on it,” Andrews explained.
“I went for the old — ‘Oh it’s a great idea until you get in the car’ skin check — the whole shebang… I wanted to pass out in the middle of it because I’m so afraid they’re going to find something.”
Andrews said she will divulge further on the “Calm Down” podcast on Thursday.
Andrews, who previously said her contract with Fox Sports expired after this past season, covered the Super Bowl between the Chiefs and the Eagles last month.
The WEAR by Erin Andrews founder became a voice on women’s health issues after she announced that she had been diagnosed with cervical cancer in September 2016.
Andrews tied the knot with Jarret Stoll — a retired hockey player who won two Stanley Cup championships with the Los Angeles Kings — six months later in June 2017.
Andrews underwent a successful surgery following her diagnosis and she is currently cancer-free.
In July 2023, the couple welcomed their first child, son Mack Roger Stoll, via a surrogate.
Andrews was also publicly open about her nine-year in vitro fertilization (IVF) journey.
The former “Dancing With the Stars” host went public with it as she began her seventh round of IVF in 2021.
