14-year-old arrested in fatal stabbing of another teen at NYC McDonald’s

A 14-year-old has been arrested in the fatal stabbing of a young teen during a wild fight inside a Queens McDonald’s, police said.

Julian Corniell died at Weill Cornell Medical Center from multiple stab wounds to the abdomen after the 3:30 p.m. knifing Friday at the fast-food joint near 38th Street and Queens Boulevard in Sunnyside, police said.

The suspect, who has not been publicly identified, was charged with first-degree gang assault, cops said.

The stabbing occurred after a fight broke out among a large group of teenagers inside the eatery. 

It’s unclear if Corniell and the baby-faced perp knew each other, police said.

The motive and whether either the suspect or the victim are in a gang remain under investigation, cops said. 

A knife was spotted in the street near the McDonald’s following the deadly brawl, although it remains unclear if cops recovered the murder weapon at the scene.
