A one-and-done mistake.
Tarek El Moussa admitted in an Instagram video Tuesday that he accidentally called his wife, Heather Rae Young, by his ex Christina Hall’s name “just once.”
El Moussa’s confession came after Young jokingly called out their contractor Bryan for referring to her by Hall’s moniker.
“Anyone know of good contractors… we might need a new one after this👀 ,” El Moussa, 43, captioned the “Flip Off” behind-the-scenes clip. “JK we love you Bryan.”
In the footage, the HGTV star confessed, “I did that one time. I’m lucky to be alive.”
When Bryan expressed doubt that the slip-up only happened on a single occasion, El Moussa replied, “No just once. It was more than enough.”
Young, 37, chimed in to clarify that the mix-up took place early in their romance, which kicked off in 2019.
“[El Moussa] got cut,” the “Selling Sunset” alum joked. “So, Bryan, get ready! What are we getting for free?”
The contractor quipped, “Nothing. You get my excellent work and attention.”
El Moussa was married to his “Flip or Flop” co-star Hall, 41, from 2009 to 2018, and the former couple co-parent daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 9.
They have each gone on to welcome one more child, with Hall giving birth to son Hudson, now 5, with then-husband Ant Anstead in September 2019.
As for Young and El Moussa, they share 2-year-old son Tristan.
The little one arrived in January 2023, one year after his parents walked down the aisle in Montecito, Calif.
Hall married her third husband, Josh Hall, in October 2021, with the 44-year-old realtor initially starring in “The Flip Off” alongside his wife, Young and El Moussa.
However, the duo called it quits last summer, and their ongoing divorce proceedings have been contentious.
In one of his only scenes from the show, Josh told Christina to “shut up” during a car ride.
He later blasted the network for airing “manufactured drama.”
Christina, who has moved on with new boyfriend Christopher Larocca, clapped back with a crying selfie via Instagram Stories, writing, “Pretty sure no one at Hgtv told you to be rude to me…. That was all natural.”
