This 50-foot saltwater lap pool with views of the Empire State Building is the highest of its kind in Manhattan

Talk about making a splash!

The Greenwich, a recently completed 88-story tower downtown, has unveiled the highest private pool in Manhattan, perched more than 800 feet above ground — and The Post got an exclusive look at the view-heavy oasis.

Located at 125 Greenwich St. in the Financial District, the Greenwich is home to “The 88,” a three-floor amenities suite that’s also now the tallest of its kind in New York City.

The centerpiece is this 50-foot indoor saltwater lap pool sitting on the 87th floor, where swimmers can do their laps while gazing at the Empire State Building, One World Trade, Jersey City and the Statue of Liberty.

Lined with plush chaise lounges and daybeds, the space feels less like a Manhattan high-rise and more like a five-star resort floating above the city.

Designed by MAWD and furnished with top-tier luxury brands like Molteni&C and Poltrona Frau, the amenity space spans the top three floors of the tower.

Beyond the pool, level 86 houses a private screening room, a 14-seat dining room with a fireplace and harbor views — and a sprawling resident lounge for socializing.

Level 87 is a wellness retreat, featuring dedicated men’s and women’s sauna and steam rooms, private spa treatment suites, and a high-end salon offering personal grooming services. Level 88 is a fitness mecca above the city, complete with a gym, a weight room, yoga and Pilates — all outfitted by Technogym.

The development was briefly stalled when, on March 20, 2024, a fire broke out on the roof of the building due to a welding igniting insulation.

The Greenwich is one of the last major projects by the late Uruguayan architect Rafael Viñoly, known for his soaring designs including 432 Park Ave. on Billionaires’ Row.

This 912-foot tower is his final legacy following his death on March 2, 2023 from an aneurysm. He was 78.
