First lady Melania Trump is all business in her official portrait, unveiled by the White House Monday.
The black and white image, snapped by Belgian photographer Regine Mahaux, was captured in the Yellow Oval Room one day after Melania’s husband Donald was sworn in as the 47th president.
The first lady, 54, is dressed in a dark suit and white blouse and rests her hands on a reflective table with the Washington Monument visible behind her.
In contrast to the grin on show in Melania’s full-color 2017 portrait, also shot by Mahaux, the first lady’s lips are pursed in a serious expression this time around.
Mahaux, based in Paris, has regularly photographed the Trump family since 2006.
Other of the snapper’s noted subjects include the Belgian royal family, actor Robert De Niro and actress Salma Hayek.
