Kendra Wilkinson claps back at body-shaming trolls over weight gain: Not a ‘Playboy girl’ anymore

Kendra Wilkinson isn’t listening to the body shamers.

The former “Girls Next Door” star — who moved into the Playboy Mansion with Hugh Hefner at 18 — clapped back at those who attacked her weight gain online, revealing she’s “at peace” as she approaches 40.

Taking to her Instagram on Sunday, Wilkinson, 39, shared a full-body mirror selfie and wrote, “Yes, I’ve gained weight. Yes, im aging. Yes, I’m not that girl i was before (playboy girl) 🤣 but for once in a long time I feel good and mentally healthy.”

She continued, “For those of you hating on my new weight, 40 yr old face please know that I’m happy, healthy and at peace in life finally. Leave me alone and respect that I’m where I actually want to be finally all together.

“Almost 40 is feeling amazing and yes to the people criticizing my alcohol intake…I hear you and that will be monitored better. Drinking too much is definitely drinking too much but you know what’s coming up in JUNE…. Shots,” Wilkinson said.

The former Playboy model, who shares two kids with her ex-husband, Hank Baskett, said her daughter Alijah Mary Baskett, 10, and son Hank Randall Baskett IV, 15, “are my everything.”

Wilkinson told her followers that she feels “pretty balanced,” adding she’s doing it all as a hands-on mom.

“Working out and cooking a lot more. Golf, work,” she shared. “No housekeeper or nanny.”

Her fans flooded her comment section with positivity, including “All About That Bass” singer Meghan Trainor, 31.

“I know you probably don’t remember me, but you and I met about 9-10 years ago in LA. We had lunch together… I thought you were beautiful inside and out then and I still do now,” Trainor wrote.

Jelly Roll’s wife, “Dumb Blonde” podcaster Bunnie XO, also commented.

“Anyone that’s remotely successful in their life doesn’t have time tear another person down. Remember that shug ❤️,” she replied.

Wilkinson spent most of her 20s in the public eye after joining the E! reality show “The Girls Next Door” with Hefner and his other girlfriends, Bridget Marquardt and Holly Madison, in 2005.

She married Baskett in 2009 when he was playing in the NFL.

The pair chronicled their life as a married couple after Wilkinson moved out of the Playboy Mansion in two spin-off shows, “Kendra” (2009 to 2011) and “Kendra on Top” (2012 to 2017).

However, Wilkinson and Baskett’s love story came to an end when they divorced in 2018.

The former Playboy Playmate has since started a career in real estate — and she’s still doing reality TV.

Wilkinson’s job as a real estate agent is featured on the MAX show “Kendra Sells Hollywood.”

Following Hefner’s death in 2017, the mom of two revealed she got high at a Sublime concert after hearing the news.

“Look, at the end of the day, I owe Hef nothing,” she said while reflecting on his death last year.

Wilkinson admitted that Playboy “messed up her whole life,” and she regretted being intimate with Hefner.

“I got into deep regret [afterwards]. I got to that point where I started hating myself [and asking], ‘Why did I have sex with Hugh Hefner?’” she said.

“I hated my boobs, my body, my face. I got to that point where I started hating myself.”
