Megan Thee Stallion wins restraining order against Tory Lanez after emotional testimony: ‘He’ll shoot me again’

Megan Thee Stallion was granted a restraining order against Tory Lanez after she claimed he’s been harassing her from prison, where he is serving a 10-year sentence for shooting her.

A Los Angeles judge ruled in the “Mamushi” rapper’s favor on Thursday, prohibiting Lanez — born Daystar Peterson — from contacting or coming near her for five years, according to court reporter Meghann Cuniff.

The restraining order will expire on Jan. 9, 2030, three years before Lanez will complete his prison sentence.

Megan, 29, appeared via a video call in a Los Angeles courtroom on Thursday afternoon and gave an emotional testimony.

“I feel like maybe he’ll shoot me again, and maybe this time I won’t make it,” she said, per Cuniff.

During her testimony, the hitmaker accused Lanez, 32, of attempting to smear her reputation by employing “bloggers” to spread rumors online.

In her complaint, the “Wanna Be” rapper described the convicted felon as a “violent and dangerous criminal.”

Megan — whose birth name is Megan Pete — initially filed the restraining order in December.

“Even now, while behind bars, Mr. Peterson shows no signs of stopping,” the filing read, allegeding Lanez continued to subject Megan to “repeated trauma and revictimization.”

In December 2022, Lanez was found guilty of shooting the three-time Grammy winner in the foot in July 2020.

At the time, he was charged with assault with a semi-automatic firearm, carrying a loaded gun and having an unregistered firearm.

Despite Lanez’s conviction, his lawyers maintained his innocence, telling Page Six they would explore an appeal.

The following year, the fellow rapper was sentenced to 10 years in prison with a 2033 release date. Lanez, however, is eligible for parole in September 2029.

Megan was previously granted a restraining order in 2020 but the court order expired in 2023.

The duo had an intimate relationship prior to the shooting. While Megan initially denied having a sexual relationship with Lanez in 2022, the “Sweetest Pie” rapper finally admitted to it in her October 2024 Amazon documentary.
