Kate Middleton is ‘determined’ to reunite Prince Harry and King Charles after difficult year: report

Kate Middleton is “on a mission” to reunite Prince Harry and King Charles after experiencing a difficult year following her cancer diagnosis, according to a report.

The Princess of Wales, 42, boasted a close friendship with the Duke of Sussex before he and his wife, Meghan Markle, ultimately quit royal life and moved to the US in 2020.

Since the duo’s swift departure, Harry has found himself more estranged from his family than ever, especially after releasing a series of tell-all projects about his time in the palace.

“Kate wants the family to reconcile,” a source told Life & Style. “With the king’s health continuing to decline, there’s only so much time for that to happen. Kate is on a mission to bring Harry home.”

“The main objective of her plan is for Harry to return to Britain and make amends with Charles.”

The mom of three has a “new perspective on everything” following her cancer battle, which saw her undergo chemotherapy treatment earlier this year.

According to the insider, Princess Catherine is done “waiting around for things to happen” after realizing life is “too precious.”

The Post has reached out to Kensington Palace for comment.

Royal commentator Katie Nicholl claimed earlier this month that the Prince of Wales, 42, is still furious at his younger brother.

“I think the Prince of Wales remains very, very angry and upset and feels very betrayed,” Nicholl told the Sun.

“Possibly the Princess of Wales is still open to a reconciliation in some form,” she said. “I still feel it’s quite early.”

“But I do think when you go through something like a cancer diagnosis and you go through the sort of journey that she has done, and you confront your own mortality, you realize life is short,” Nicholl said, adding that life is “far too short for rifts and family feuds.”

Nicholl also highlighted the importance of overcoming the royal rift in the public eye, saying it was crucial for the royals to go about things the correct way to maintain a good public image.

“And perhaps that will be a role that [Middleton] will play at some point in healing that rift, because I think we look to the royal family as a symbol of unity,” she said of the princess.
