Six shot, including 12-year-old girl, in Bronx as cops search for suspect: NYPD

Cops are searching for a man who shot six people, including a 12-year-old girl, in the Bronx on Monday afternoon, sending all of them to the hospital.

The shooting happened around 4:50 p.m. at 3544 White Plains Road — roughly a block from Marcus Garvey Square in Olinville, according to the NYPD.

It’s unclear what sparked the gunfire, but cops said they found three men, two women and the young girl with bullet wounds when they arrived.

The precise ages of the other victims is currently unknown.

The wounded were brought to area hospitals, where they are in stable condition, cops said. The 12 year-old’s injuries are not serious, according to police.

Meanwhile, police are searching for the suspect, who fled wearing all black except for a blue surgical mask covering his face.
