Juan Soto’s historic contract worth $765 million over 15 years created much of the buzz at the Hilton Anatole.
As many team executives, agents and media began filtering into the meetings on Sunday, it was still unclear in which direction the All-Star outfielder was headed. Shortly after 10 p.m. on Sunday, we had the answer as my Post teammate Jon Heyman broke the news that Soto had agreed to terms with the Mets.
