Kristen Doute shared a cryptic message after her co-star and ex James Kennedy was arrested for domestic violence.
“Finally,” the “Valley” star simply wrote on her Instagram Stories Thursday alongside an article about Kennedy’s arrest.
Page Six has reached out to reps for Doute and Kennedy but did not immediately hear back.
On Thursday, news broke that Kennedy, 32, was detained for domestic violence on Tuesday night.
Per TMZ, police in Burbank, Calif., were dispatched to the “Vanderpump Rules” star’s home after neighbors called about a dispute between a man and a woman, whose identity is still unknown.
An eyewitness reportedly told officers they saw Kennedy grab the woman at one point during the argument.
Police, however, told the outlet that no injuries were seen on the alleged female victim.
The DJ has since been released from jail on $20,000 bail.
Kennedy and Doute, 41, previously dated during their time together on the hit Bravo reality show “Vanderpump Rules.”
However, their romance took a turn for the worse and Bravo viewers got to see all of their explosive arguments play out on the show.
In September 2015, news broke that the pair had called it quits.
Doute later said she believed Kennedy “used [her] to be on the show.”
“James did his homework. He knew exactly what to do to get me,” she told Bravo’s “The Daily Dish” in 2015.
“He knew when to swoop in — when I wasn’t really friends with anyone yet. [He also knew] basically don’t act like Tom [Sandoval] and don’t be an ass, and then I’m going to like him,” she continued.
“And he also knows that I fix little, broken souls. He just did his homework and he knew exactly what he was doing. And he played me right until the point that he got through one whole season, became a primary and then dropped me.”
In 2022, Doute also claimed that Kennedy had been physically abusive toward her during their relationship.
Doute is currently expecting her first child, a baby girl, with her fiancé, Luke Broderick.
Meanwhile, Kennedy has been in a long-term relationship with Ally Lewber, 28.
It’s unclear whether she was the woman involved in the domestic dispute.
