Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks are about to make their MetLife Stadium debut.
No, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers aren’t playing for the Jets and Giants. Rather, they just announced they’re co-headlining at the Meadowlands’ famed 82,500-seat venue on Friday, Aug. 8.
The event is being labeled as “their only Tri-state appearance together.”
Since March 2023, the pair has played a number of stadium ‘Two Icons, One Night’ shows across the country. Based on our findings, the septuagenarians don’t skimp at these overstuffed shows and deliver all the hits you know and love.
For Joel, that means “Piano Man,” “Uptown Girl,” “We Didn’t Start The Fire,” “New York State of Mind” and more; according to Set List FM, he played 23 songs at a December 2023 concert of theirs in Phoenix.
Alternately, Nicks swung for the fences and performed 15 tracks that evening including “Rhiannon,” “Landslide” and “Edge of Seventeen.”
Prior to the big concert, Joel is headlining at Belmont Park, NY’s UBS Arena on Dec. 31. This one-off will be the second time he’s rang in the New Year there in as many years. Then, on April 11, he’ll be at Syracuse’s JMA Wireless Dome with Sting.
Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Billy Joel shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the MetLife Stadium concert is Friday, Dec. 13.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.
