Missing 12-year-old could be in Laval, Boisbriand, Rosemère or Ste-Thérèse

The boy’s family is worried for his safety because of a questionable circle of acquaintances, Laval police say.

Laval police have turned to the public in an effort to locate 12-year-old Samir Mahamed Moustapha, who was last seen leaving his home on Thursday.

Police say the boy’s family is worried for his safety because of a questionable circle of acquaintances. He travels on foot and public transit and may be in Laval, Boisbriand, Rosemère or Ste-Thérèse.

Samir Mahamed Moustapha is a Black francophone who stands 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. When last seen, he was wearing an Oxygen brand coat, black jogging pants and dark coloured shoes.

Anyone with any information on his whereabouts or that could further the search effort is urged to call the Laval police tip line at 450-662-4636 or call 911 and mention file LVL-241128-088.
