If you’re like the Madman, you have a love-hate relationship with Thursday NFL games.
On the one hand, there is so little time for players to recover and teams to prepare, which often results in sloppy games. The short turnaround means injuries play a larger role.
Plus, our Thursday afternoons are busier than Sunday mornings, so we don’t have as much time to tend to rosters for all of our dozens of teams, though this might be a unique problem for those few of us who have 40-plus teams.
On the other hand, it is a football game on a night when there otherwise wouldn’t be football. We’re never going to complain about that.
