The former mayor of Montreal and now candidate for the Quebec Liberal leadership says “it is not a secret” that Revenu Québec has slapped the property with a legal mortgage of $133,000.
Former Montreal mayor Denis Coderre has put his home in Montreal North up for sale in an effort to settle unpaid tax issues with Revenu Québec.
The listing for the property is seeking $749,800. It notes the house was built in 1986, has four bedrooms, a bathroom and a powder room.
