Earlier this year, a new chapter in the “Alien” franchise hit theaters, and now, it’s available to stream on Hulu from the comfort of your own living room.

“Alien: Romulus” comes from Uruguayan filmmaker Fede Álvarez, who has a niche in sci-fi horror. Within the “Alien” timeline, it’s set, specifically, between “Alien” (1979) and “Aliens” (1986). The film’s young cast is led by Golden Globe nominee Cailee Spaeny.

“Alien: Romulus” follows six downtrodden young space colonists as they encounter hostile creatures while scavenging a derelict space station. Following the release of the film, which was met with praise from critics, 20th Century Studios head Steve Asbell told The Hollywood Reporter that they were working on a potential sequel with Alvarez.
