NFL Week 12 player props: Chiefs vs. Panthers, 49ers vs. Packers picks, predictions

Week 12 in the NFL has arrived.

Here are two offensive weapons we’re betting to have big games on Sunday.

Kareem Hunt over 18.5 rushing attempts (-115, BetMGM)

Kareem Hunt is getting one last week as the Chiefs’ lead running back.

Isaiah Pacheco, who has been sidelined since Week 2 with an ankle injury, was ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Panthers, leaving Hunt as the main ball carrier in a game oddsmakers are expecting to be a blowout.

The veteran running back has somewhat surprisingly garnered the bulk of the opportunities in Kansas City’s backfield since re-joining the team in Week 4, averaging 19.6 rushing attempts across seven games this season.

Vegas bookies are expecting a typical game for Hunt, pegging his rushing attempts over/under at 18.5.

This spot is as good as any to hit the over.

Despite winning their last two games, the 3-7 Panthers are no match for Kansas City, which should result in plenty of garbage time handoffs to Hunt as the Chiefs try to ice the game.

Hunt has at least 14 attempts in every game this season — going under in defensive battles against the Chargers and Broncos and last week’s thriller against the Bills.

He has at least 21 rushing attempts in his four other games, which should look much more like Sunday’s contest in Charlotte.

Jauan Jennings over 52.5 receiving yards (-110, bet365)

Jauan Jennings has been a rare bright spot for the 49ers this season.

The 27-year-old pass catcher has arguably been San Francisco’s best wide receiver this season after the injury to Brandon Aiyuk and struggles from Deebo Samuel.

Brock Purdy’s status for Sunday’s game is up in the air, but Jennings will be good to go regardless of who is behind center.

Oddsmakers are still pricing Jennings like he’s a secondary option in the 49ers’ passing game, setting his receiving yards over/under at 52.5.

Betting on the NFL?

Since returning from a hip injury in Week 19, Jennings has at least 90 receiving yards in each of the past two weeks.

He has been a target hog — 11 throws have gone his way in both games.

Even before the injury and his bigger role for the 49ers, Jennings still frequently went over this number with at least 53 yards through the air in 3-of-6 games before his balky hip took him out of the lineup.

Jennings has quietly been a strong deep threat this season, too, with nine catches of 20+ yards over eight games.

In a must-win, Jennings’ hot streak should continue in Green Bay.
