The Detroit Lions have a lot to be thankful for this season.
Now sitting at 9-1, Dan Campbell’s club is riding an eight-game win streak going into their week 12 contest against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Nov. 24.
After that, Jared Goff, Amon-Ra St. Brown, David Montgomery and co. head home to play Caleb Williams’ 4-6 Chicago Bears in the annual Thanksgiving Classic at Ford Field on Thursday, Nov. 28.
This NFC North showdown is the first of two meetings for the interdivisional rivals in 2024. They’ll meet up again at Chicago’s Soldier Field on Sunday, Dec. 22.
And while this matchup may seem like it would be a walk in the park for the dominant Lions, they need to be wary of the scrappy Bears.
Just last year, the playoff-bound Lions lost 28-13 to the Bears in week 14, which prompted coach Dan Campbell to claim the team lacked “discipline” in a postgame press conference.
