Saskatoon Police investigate city’s 13th homicide of 2024

Police say the victim, a 20-year-old woman, was found dead in a parking lot on Friday.

Police are investigating after a 20-year-old woman was found dead in a Saskatoon parking lot on Friday.

They say her death marks the city’s 13th homicide of 2024.

On Friday night, a “significant police presence” was called to the 1300 block of 8th Street East.

As of Saturday, police say the woman was killed in a parking lot on that block, and was found dead at the scene.

Police say they will not be releasing any more information at this point as the investigation is ongoing, but they are asking anyone with information related to this incident to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
