CBC/Radio-Canada, TSN/RDS and Amazon Prime to broadcast PWHL games this season

All 30 Victoire games will be broadcast in English and French.

The Professional Women’s Hockey League says all 90 games of its upcoming second regular season will be shown by its Canadian broadcast partners.

The league announced its national broadcast partnerships Thursday.

TSN, RDS, and CBC/Radio-Canada will return as broadcast partners for a second season, while Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service will host games for the first time. All 30 Montreal Victoire games will also be broadcast in French.

Sportsnet, which broadcast some PWHL games last season, is not among the broadcast partners. Nor will games be available live on YouTube in Canada as they were last season.

CBC will show the season opener between the Toronto Sceptres and the visiting Boston Fleet on the afternoon of Nov. 30, and broadcast Saturday afternoon games through the season.

Canadian coverage of the semifinal round of the PWHL playoffs will be split between TSN/RDS and Prime, while TSN/RDS will host the league final.

Montreal Victoire games are assigned as follows:

• 17 games on TSN and RDS (channel assignments to be announced)
• Six Saturday games on CBC (or CBC Gem) and Radio-Canada (or Ici Tou.tv)
• Five Tuesday games on Amazon Prime Video
• Two games TBA (one on Radio-Canada and one on RDS)

The PWHL says it will announce its United States broadcast partners, schedule, and talent at a later date.
