Bullet shot through the window of a West Island auto repair shop

The alarm system of the shop in Pierrefonds-Roxboro was triggered around 2:30 a.m.

An auto repair shop in the Montreal borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro was targeted by gunfire early Thursday.

Montreal police said the alarm system of the business on Gouin Blvd. near Robitaille St. was triggered around 2:30 a.m. Police found a bullet impact on the window of the establishment as well as a spent shell casing on the ground.

There were no injuries or arrests reported and police will examine local surveillance cameras in an effort to determine the circumstances leading up to the incident.
