One of America’s top UFO experts has testified to Congress that the United States is ‘in possession’ of alien technology.
Luis Elizondo, the former AATIP (Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program) program manager, said the technology the US allegedly has outperforms ‘anything’ in their current inventory.
He told a congressional hearing today: ‘We are talking about technologies that outperform anything in our inventory.’
Mr Elizondo also said that if an ‘adversary’ was behind the UAPs (unidentified aerial phenomenons), it would be an intelligence failure even bigger than 9/11.
‘Advanced technologies not made by our government – or any other government – are monitoring sensitive military installations around the globe. Furthermore, the US is in possession of UAP technologies, as are some of our adversaries,’ he said.
Those who have given classified testimonies to government officials, including the US Department of Defence and others in the intelligence community, have been threatened, Mr Elizondo said.
He added: ‘Many of us have subsequently been targeted by this cabal with threats to our careers, our security clearances, and even our lives This is not hyperbole, but a genuine fact, and this is wrong.’
The hearing is titled ‘Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth’, and comes after the initial hearings in August 2023, which explored the idea that aliens do exist – and the government allegedly knows about it.
Last month, a whistleblower alleged the US government is keeping tabs on any and all claims of UFO sightings as part of an ‘above top-secret’ programme.
‘Immaculate Constellation’ is an alleged database of high-quality photographs, videos, firsthand accounts and electronic sensor evidence of UFOs.
Officials use the off-the-books programme to ‘detect’ and ‘quarantine’ UFO materials without congressional knowledge or oversight, according to a leaked report shared with the Substack newsletter Public.
American military and intelligence officials have a ‘high level of confidence in the accuracy and integrity of the data gathered’, which includes mentions of not only UFOs but ‘Alien Reproduction Vehicles’, or reverse-engineered crafts.
Meanwhile in the UK, it was revealed the government is officially gearing up for the discovery of aliens, a move described as ‘long overdue’ by the UK’s leading UFO expert.
A Freedom of Information request revealed the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) looked into how it would react to a ‘black swan’ event – that is, discovering extraterrestrial life, including announcing the find to the public.
A black swan event is an unpredictable event that has wide-ranging consequences, but in hindsight appears to have been inevitable.
The report is investigating whether a plan already exists – none has ever been made public – what a plan would look like and how the UK can be ‘on the front foot’ should such an astounding scientific discovery finally be made.
An internal report will be presented to the DSIT Permanent Secretary setting out recommendations for an action plan including opportunities, challenges and areas of expertise.
While a summary of the work states the primary focus of the report will be ‘the impact on the science landscape’, it will also consider the wider impact.
