Chanel Maya Banks, the “Gossip Girl” actress who went missing two weeks ago in Los Angeles, has been found safe in Texas, police said Wednesday.
The 36-year-old actress — whose credits also include “Blue Bloods” — was located Monday in Texas, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson told The Post.
She was uninjured and no foul play was suspected in her reported disappearance, authorities said, without detailing what she was doing in the Lone Star State.
Members of Banks’ family had flown in to search for her after growing concerned that no one had heard from her since Oct. 30, her cousin Danielle-Tori Singh previously told ABC 7 Eyewitness News.
“Five days without hearing from my cousin is red flags and alarm bells,” Singh said. “She doesn’t go more than 48 hours without speaking to me or her mom…That girl is more like a big sister to me,” the cousin said, saying she feared “something is up.”
Authorities had previously conducted welfare checks at the Playa Vista apartment Banks shares with her husband of one year and found her belongings and dog there, but nothing pointing them to where she may have gone.
Singh grew so concerned she even started to hand out “Missing Persons” flyers with her cousin’s face plastered across them.
Her family started a GoFundMe hoping to raise enough money to hire a private investigator.
It was not immediately clear what Banks was doing in Texas.
Banks appeared in popular shows such as “Blue Bloods,” “Twelve” and “Gossip Girl,” and sometimes acted under the name Chanel Farrell, according to her IMDB page.
