Police find nearly two kilos of crystal meth, about 100 grams of cocaine and the same amount of cannabis, nearly 4,000 methamphetamine pills and more than $20,000.
QUEBEC CITY — Quebec City police arrested five suspects and a large amount of narcotics on Saturday during a stakeout in the borough of Cité-Limoilou.
At about 5:38 a.m., police officers and members of the narcotics unit arrested a woman and four men, age 25 to 33, for possession of narcotics with intention to traffic, Quebec City police said in a statement Saturday night.
Police also carried out a search in which they found nearly two kilos of crystal meth, about 100 grams of cocaine and the same amount of cannabis, nearly 4,000 methamphetamine pills and more than $20,000.
One suspect appeared in court on Saturday and the other four were released with a promise to appear at a later date.
