Suspected Tren de Aragua gang members completely trash Colorado AirBnb with wild party

A Colorado Airbnb owner who rented her home in a quiet mountain town was horrified to find that it was overrun by suspected Tren de Aragua gangbangers who threw a raucous party and completely trashed the place.

Karen Martiz said her house in Evergreen — about 30 miles west of Denver — has $16,000 in damage.

The partiers left cigarette butts, gum on the carpets, walls and ceiling, hundreds of empty bottles of alcohol and drug paraphernalia behind.

Martiz believes the Venezuelan prison gang is behind the mess.

Local cops agree.

The Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office said it suspects that TdA members were part of the group of 80 to 100 people who partied at the Airbnb, according to FOX31.

The property’s rules allow only a handful of guests to stay there.

“I have put all my energy and love into this property to make it beautiful for my guests. It’s a beautiful place. Everybody loved it. We have been hosting for two years and this was the first time that I showed up here and my house was completely destroyed. I couldn’t believe it,” Martiz told Fox News Wednesday.

She recalled encountering a “horrible scene” when she entered the property after the group’s stay.

“When I walked into my house, I couldn’t believe I was actually living this. Because until you live it, you are like, ‘Is this even something that could happen to people?’” she said.

TdA crimes have been documented in several US states, including in Aurora, Colorado, where the gang has taken over apartment complexes, where they’ve committed violent crimes.

“It’s very real, and this group of people [Tren de Aragua] are doing it to people like me,” Martiz said.

The Post was the first to report on TdA’s infiltration of the Denver suburb, where it swooped in to seize control of several poorly maintained apartment complexes and the gang’s regional leader, nicknamed “Cookie,” took part in brutal crimes.

The issue soon caught the attention of former President Donald Trump, who made a point to visit Aurora, where earlier this month he announced plans to invoke a 226-year-old law to dismantle TdA and deport its members.

“I will rescue Aurora and every town that has been invaded and conquered,” Trump told supporters at the rally, adding that his administration will either “put these vicious and bloodthirsty criminals in jail” or “get them the hell out of our country.”

“These are stone-cold killers,” Trump said.

Martiz said Trump isn’t exaggerating the gang’s threat to the nation.

“Absolutely no exaggeration at all,” she said.

“This is very real and this should be taken very seriously. These people are not here to do good. They have nothing to lose. They don’t care. They’re just coming in, destroying properties, people’s lives like nothing. Something needs to happen … This needs to stop. A hundred percent, as soon as possible.”
