It’s now or never for the New York Yankees.
On Monday, Oct. 28, the Bronx-based club lost game three of the 2024 World Series to the Los Angeles Dodgers by a score of 4-2.
The loss puts Aaron Judge, Juan Soto and New York down 3-0; every game from here on out is officially do or die for the team.
“Hopefully we can go be this amazing story and shock the world,” manager Aaron Boone said in a post game press conference. “But right now it’s about trying to get a lead, trying to grab a game and force another one and on from there.”
Luis Gil starts game four for the Yankees on Tuesday, Oct. 29. The Dodgers have yet to announce a starter but will likely go with a bullpen game like they did in games two and six of the NLCS against the Mets.
If you want to be there to root the Yankees on — and possibly see Juan Soto in pinstripes for the last time — last-minute World Series tickets are still available.
And, based on our findings, they’re already cheaper than they were just 24 hours earlier.
Just yesterday, game four prices started at $585 before fees on Vivid Seats on Oct. 28.
At the time of publication, general admission passes have dropped to $453 before fees.
That’s a cool $132 in savings.
Seats can be found for as low as $519 before fees.
While, yes, that’s still quite expensive, this might be the best price you ever see on World Series tickets. Not bad for a bucket list item.
