Liam Payne’s posthumous song Do No Wrong is due to be released on Friday.
Songwriter Sam Pounds – who was working with the former One Direction star before he died at the age of 31 on October 16 – said he prays the track will be ‘a blassing to the world like Liam had always dreamed’.
Taking to social media with the news sharing a link to pre-save the song, Sam said: ‘I pray that this will be a blessing to the world like Liam has always dreamed.
‘I pray angels will comfort you all everyday while listening. I pray that this song will be a blessing to Ruth, Bear, and the entire family.
‘I pray that this song eclipses the negative echoes. I pray supernatural positive healing power will embrace each and every one of you. Presave links here. With love.’
He finished: ‘Let’s all BE the blessing.’
Payne died after falling from his third-floor hotel balcony while staying in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
This comes as it was announced Payne’s body was being held in the South American country while investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death are taking place.
Multiple sources claim that a concoction of drugs was found in the singer’s system at the time of his death.
Police in Buenos Aires have said a preliminary autopsy suggests Payne died from multiple injuries sustained in his fall that led to ‘internal and external haemorrhaging’.
The One Direction star had previously shared his struggle with addiction and his time in rehab.
His death sparked an outpouring of grief from fans around the world, who held vigils with flowers, cards, and candles to remember him.
His former One Direction bandmates – Harry Styles, Naill Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson – all paid tribute to the star, as did music industry figures including Simon Cowell, who formed the boyband on the X Factor when Payne was 16.
Payne leaves behind his son Bear, who he welcomed with former X Factor judge and Girls Aloud star Cheryl in 2017. She paid tribute saying Payne’s death was an ‘earth-shattering event’.
The What Makes You Beautiful hitmaker’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy said she would love him for the rest of her life in a heartbreaking tribute, and also revealed they had planned on getting married.
In the weeks before his death, Payne had been involved in filming a Netflix reality series titled Building The Band to create ‘the next great pop group’, which is now said to be ‘on hold’.
He was part of the judging panel alongside The Pussycat Dolls’ Nicole Scherzinger, Destiny Child’s Kelly Rowland and Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean to ‘create the next great pop group sight unseen’.
