Your favorite YouTuber and content creator is probably going to be competing in the Daily Fantasy Sports Championship.
PrizePicks, a Daily Fantasy Sports company that boasts “pick ’em” lineups as an alternative to traditional sports betting, tells The Post that Stephen A. Smith will be hosting a massive competition between influencers for the title of DFS champion.
The winner will snag a $100,000 grand prize in an event featuring former UFC bantamweight Sean O’Malley, Nelk Boys’ Kyle Forgeard, and many other online influencers.
Smith, best known as the host of ESPN’s First Take, will also compete in the event to win $100,000 and reach champion status.
The event will take place in Atlanta, where Smith, on behalf of his podcast “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” will play host despite his primary employer working with a sports betting operator now named ESPN BET.
PrizePicks and Smith have had a long-standing sponsorship deal together that has been seen on multiple social media platforms, although he has not competed in the event before.
Forgaerd won the 2023 PrizePicks Championship when his lineup put up the highest total in a six-player lineup.
“As the defending PPWC champion, I am excited to put my title on the line and compete once again for glory,” Forgaerd told The Post. “This [is] all business, and we are coming for the top spot once again.”
Typically, a lineup consists of at least two players and a statistical projection that a user will decide to go higher or lower than the number.
For instance, a two-player lineup could consist of Patrick Mahomes throwing for more than 249.5 passing yards and Saquon Barkley running for more than 64.5 rushing yards.

The date of the tournament, Nov. 17, will feature a solid NFL schedule that includes Chiefs vs. Bills in the 4 p.m. ET window and the Colts vs. Jets — again — in prime time.
