Angelina Jolie rocks wild curly hair and slinky dress at movie premiere

Angelina Jolie is a beauty chameleon.

The Atelier Jolie founder, 49, isn’t afraid to shake up her beauty look, as proven by her wildly curly mane at the premiere of her upcoming film “Maria” during the AFI Fest 2024.

A departure from her typically long, straight locks, the voluminous hair was created by celebrity hairstylist Renato Campora, who also works with stars like Selena Gomez and Elizabeth Olsen.

Styled in a dramatic side part, Jolie’s curly strands appeared to be teased, giving them a lived-in, slightly messy look.

She took her beauty moment to the next level with a bright red lip and matching nails.

The fashion muse wore the bold, unexpected hairstyle alongside a slinky metallic silver gown, complete with a high neckline and floor-length hem.

She covered her shoulders with a black wrap, which included oversized sleeves. A chunky gold bracelet and coordinating drop earrings rounded out the red carpet ensemble.

Jolie seems to have taken a liking to curly hair as of late, sporting a similar look for CR Fashion Book last month.

In the editorial imagery, the 49-year-old wore bold disco curls, also courtesy of Campora, her go-to hairstylist.

Naturally, she was decked out in Atelier Jolie pieces for the photoshoot, including an embroidered jacket, slinky dress and a ballgown.

In the upcoming Netflix biopic, Jolie plays the late opera singer Maria Callas, who she says she relates to in real life.

According to an interview with People during the premiere on Oct. 26, the mother of six also deals with a “certain loneliness” that stems from being a hard worker.

“I don’t want to speak too much about it because it’s too personal, but there’s definitely a loneliness and a work ethic,” Jolie said to the outlet. “I may be many things, but I’m a very hard worker, right? I’m an imperfect person, but I work very hard and she does.”
