Seahawks’ Derick Hall and Jarran Reed get into fiery on-field exchange, sideline scuffle

They’re on the same team, but it didn’t seem like several Seahawks players knew that during Sunday’s game against the Bills.

Things got heated between several Seahawks players, on the field and on the sideline, in the first half of the game in Seattle.

First, it appeared that linebacker Derick Hall and defensive lineman Jarran Reed got into an argument on the field and could be seen getting into one another’s face.

At one point a pair of Bills players stepped in to break the two bickering Seahawks players up to allow the game to move on.

The argument continued on the sideline as Fox cameras caught Hall and Reid continuing to go at each other, with Reid aggressively gesturing toward Hall and then Hall grabbing Reid by the facemask.

Leonard Williams quickly jumped in between the pair to try and separate them as other players and coaches jumped in to try and quell the issue.

The two were pulled apart and brought to separate parts of the Seahawks sideline.

“He and Reid going at it. Again there’s just a lot of competitors down there and these guys are fighting hard to win. You don’t love to see the teammates, but that happens,” Fox analyst Tom Brady said.

What led to the fight isn’t exactly clear at the moment.

The Seahawks went into halftime down 14-3 to the Bills.

Seattle is coming off a win over Atlanta last week, but they had dropped their three previous games before that.
