Eugenie “Genie” Bouchard is getting into the Halloween spirit.
The Canadian tennis pro unveiled her cow Halloween costume Sunday on Instagram, posing in a handful of photos with a milk carton accessory.
Several of Bouchard’s 2.3 million Instagram followers naturally responded to the post, with “holy cow” among the comments.
This isn’t the first time Bouchard, 30, has set Instagram ablaze with her costume choices.
Last year, the 2014 Wimbledon finalist rocked a black lacy ensemble and a mask, a la “Batwoman.”
She appeared to channel Taylor Swift during Halloween celebrations in New York last fall.
Bouchard has drawn attention over the years for her social media photo shoots, including a “yard work” set that went viral this summer.
Although her career has continued to evolve beyond tennis — she pivoted to pickleball in early 2024 — there was a time when Bouchard would be subjected to “hate” for anything not associated with the sport.
“Back in the day, I could train six hours during the day before later posting on social media about being at the movies and I would get hate,” Bouchard said in a July 2024 interview with The Times. ” “It was like, well, social media isn’t an exact representation of my day.”
Bouchard, once ranked No. 5 in the world, added she’s grateful “the world has changed over the past 10 years” after previously feeling like she “was being shoved into a box.”
“I was like, tennis has given me opportunities to explore the fashion world, TV and all these other things. Why would I say no?” she said.
Despite grappling with injuries in recent years, Bouchard told The Times she isn’t closing the book on tennis just yet.
“I’m going to put tennis tournaments in where I can fit them in my schedule. Tennis is what I love and what I still want to keep doing. The pickleball schedule is the priority but I do want to insert those tennis tournaments,” she said.
For now, at least, Bouchard is enjoying the spooky season.
