Christiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez has been hospitalised with pneumonia.
The social media personality and model, 30, updated fans on her Instagram page, showing off a bouquet of flowers and a get well soon card.
Rodriguez, who began dating Ronaldo in 2016, wrote: ‘Finally back home!
‘I spent 4 days at the hospital with pneumonia, I’m better now but still recovering at home with my family.
‘I have to say a big THANK YOU to all the staff members, doctors, nurses and everyone at the hospital…
‘They took care of me wonderfully and I’m so grateful for that.
‘Thank you all for such a great stay.’
She appeared to confirm that she had been treated at Saudi German Hospital in Riyadh, tagging them in the Instagram Story.
According to the NHS, pneumonia is inflammation of the lungs, usually caused by an infection.
While most people recover within two to four weeks, some people are at risk of getting seriously ill and requiring hospital care, such as babies, the elderly, and those who suffer from lung conditions.
The star last posted on her Instagram page four days ago, sharing a Reel announcing her collaboration with Pasquale Bruni.

Last Friday, the football ace, 39, hit the pitch with Saudi Arabia team Al-Nassr to score a 2-1 win against Al-Shabab.
He then jetted to Dubai to play against Iranian team Esteghal, with his team winning 1-0.
The couple share Cristiano’s son Junior, 14, who he welcomed in 2010, and twins Eva and Matteo, who were born via surrogate in 2017.
They share seven-year-old daughter Alana Martina and Bella, who was born in April 2022.
The couple sadly lost Bella’s brother, thanking hospital staff for their ‘expert care’ during the devastating time.
