Former Eagles nose tackle Beau Allen had a funny response after some people mistook him for Kylie Kelce, the wife of his former Philadelphia teammate Jason Kelce, while at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Miami over the weekend.
Allen attended the concert with his sister and mom and they sat with Jason — whose brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, is dating Swift. He hosted them in his private suite at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
The former Super Bowl champs were seen dancing together to Swift’s hit song, “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” in a viral video that was recorded by a fan on TikTok.
“I was mistaken for the lovely Kylie Kelce at the [Taylor] Swift concert, which I’m rocking my merch for today,” Allen said Monday during a guest appearance on the “Green Light” podcast, hosted by former NFL players Chris Long and Nate Collins.
“T. Swift kind of popped off, but someone said that she thought I was Kylie, dancing with Jason, and she’s like, ‘[She is] down to earth. Look at those ripped field hockey arms …She is the glue, the neck, the foundation.’”
Allen was referring to some comments on social media by fans who complimented his arm muscles and were under the impression he was Kylie — who was actually sitting elsewhere in the suite.
Long was entertained by Allen’s story-telling.
“That s–t was so funny to me. I mean, that is solid gold, and what’s even better is that you commented underneath,” Long said, referring to Allen’s response to the buzz about him and Kylie.
“I said, ‘Kylie wishes that she had this a**,’” Allen said.
Kelce, Allen and Long were teammates in Philadelphia and won Super Bowl LII together, when the Eagles beat the Patriots, 41-33, in February 2018.
Allen posted a carousel of photos from the show on Instagram, including a snapshot of him and Kylie in the suite.
“Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince,” he wrote, referring to Swift’s song off of her album, “Lover” in 2019.
Elsewhere at Hard Rock Stadium, former NFL quarterback Tom Brady took in the Eras Tour with his sons, Jack, 17, and Benjamin, 14.
