Taylor Swift still shouted out her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at her Eras Tour concert in Miami, Fla., over the weekend –– despite the Kansas City Chiefs player skipping the show.
During her sold-out concert on Sunday, the singer once again changed the lyrics of her hit song Karma from “Karma is the guy on the screen” to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.”
Videos circulating on social media showed the entire audience at Hard Rock Stadium erupting into cheers as Swift paid homage to her NFL star boyfriend.
The “Cruel Summer” singer, 34, has swapped the lyrics to “Karma” a handful of times at this point. However, she normally only does so when Kelce, 35, is in attendance at the show.
Fans theorized that Swift’s shout-out may have had something to do with the Chiefs winning their game, 28-18, against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The Chiefs are the only undefeated team remaining in the NFL this season.
The “Blank Space” singer gave another nod to her beau prior to her concert starting when the stadium only played the Chiefs game on several TVs in the hallways, per fan videos shared to social media.
Meanwhile, some Swifties are convinced that Kelce also paid homage to his girlfriend with the all-blue pregame outfit he wore while entering Levi’s Stadium over the weekend.
The ensemble choice came after Swift debuted four new blue outfits while performing on stage just days prior. Fans quickly took to social media to point out the similar color patterns.
Swifties also expressed their excitement during Saturday’s show after they spotted the Grammy winner smiling while singing about someone treating her well in the surprise song mashup performance of “Loml” and “White Horse.”
“‘Cause I’m not your princess, this ain’t a fairytale / I’m gonna find someone someday / Who might actually treat me well,” she sang while flashing a smile at the piano.
Swift kicked off the final US leg of her Eras Tour last Friday. Despite the tight end not being able to attend any of the shows, he made sure his family showed their support.
The tight end’s brother, Jason Kelce, brought his wife, Kylie Kelce, and their two daughters Wyatt, 4, and Elliotte, 3, to one of the concerts. Travis and Jason’s mom, Donna Kelce, was also in attendance.
