Hyundai warns owners of hydrogen cars to park outdoors

The automaker is recalling nearly 1,600 examples of its Nexo FCEV in the U.S. and Canada over a fuel-leak-related fire risk

The fix involves dealers simply replacing the pressure-relief device on affected Nexo vehicles.

Hyundai introduced the Nexo to Canada in 2019; the 2024 model starts at $72,500. While the Nexo is available nationwide, refuelling locations for the vehicle are located only in B.C. and Quebec. The crossover SUV is sold through Hyundai head office, with each purchase request considered case by case.
