The Guardians aren’t going down without a fight.
Jhonkensy Noel tied Game 3 with a two-run blast to left field that sent the crowd at Progressive Field into a frenzy in the bottom of the ninth inning on Thursday night.
Noel, aka “Big Christmas,” took a 1-0 change up from Yankees pitcher Luke Weaver 404 feet for the longball with two outs to knot the score at five and keep the Guardians’ hopes alive in the critical playoff game.
The Yankees currently lead the ALCS 2-0 after taking the first two games of the series in the Bronx.
