Just when you thought the Yankees were down and out, Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton pulled them back.
But then the Guardians sank them for good in heartbreaking fashion in all-time classic ALCS Game 3.
Judge and Stanton crushed back-to-back homers off Guardians closer Emmanuel Clase in the top of the eighth inning on Wednesday, changing a 3-1 deficit to a Yankees lead before the Bombers tacked on an insurance run in the ninth to take a 5-3 lead.

But Jhonkensy Noel crushed a two-run, two-out homer in the ninth off Luke Weaver to tie it before David Fry smacked a game-winning two-run blast of his own off Clay Holmes in the 10th to give Cleveland a 7-5 win.
It was an improbable comeback for Cleveland, which is now is down 2-1 in the series.
