Trump campaign releases new ad centered on Kamala Harris telling ‘The View’ she’d do ‘not a thing’ different than Biden

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign released a new ad Wednesday focused on Vice President Kamala Harris’ eyebrow-raising response to a question during her appearance on “The View” last week.

The 30-second spot highlights Harris, 59, telling “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin that “there is not a thing that comes to mind” when asked what she would’ve done differently than President Biden over the last 3.5 years.

“A flood of illegals, skyrocketing prices, global chaos and Kamala wouldn’t change a thing,” the narrator says in the ad.

The ad will air in battleground states.

After a clip from the vice president’s widely-mocked appearance on the ABC daytime talk show is played, the narrator goes on to say: “Nothing will change with Kamala.”

“More weakness, more war, more welfare for illegals and even more taxes,” the ad continues. “Only President Trump cut middle class taxes, and only President Trump will do it again.”

The seven swing states — Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — have received 79% of all presidential ad spending since Harris replaced Biden on the Democratic ticket in July, according to ad-tracking firm AdImpact

Some 88% of future ad reservations, thru Election Day, are also in those key states, where Trump and Harris are separated by razor-thin margins.

Harris appeared to walk back the remark during an interview on Fox News Wednesday.

Harris walked back her comments on “The View” during an interview with Fox News “Special Report” host Bret Baier Wednesday.

“Let me be very clear, my presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency,” she said.

“[L]ike every new president that comes into office, I will bring my life experiences, my professional experiences, and fresh and new ideas,” Harris added.
