Here’s the latest on the Trump-Harris race:
Former President Donald Trump is set to speak Thursday night at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation dinner held annually in Manhattan, a Catholic fundraiser that’s historically provided rare moments of levity — especially in an election year, where the candidates get to roast and mock each other.
Vice President Kamala Harris is dodging the dinner. (We’ll be there though.)
Instead, Harris is in battleground Wisconsin, hitting up Milwaukee, La Crosse and Green Bay after giving her first-ever Fox News interview last night: a tense grilling by host Brett Baier in which she deflected questions about some of Americans’ top concerns including border policy and Biden’s fitness for office.
