The ALCS is now set.

A five-RBI game from outfielder Lane Thomas proved to be the difference-maker before closer Emmanuel Clase slammed the door shut.

The best-of-seven series will begin on Monday night at Yankee Stadium.

The Yankees hold a 4-2 lead over the Guardians during the regular season. Two of those games went into extra innings and five of them saw the Yankees score five or more runs.

The Bronx Bombers will be chasing their first World Series appearance since 2009.
