Prices in Manalapan, Fla. — between Palm Beach and Delray Beach — keep rising.
And now, an ocean-to-Intracoastal Waterway compound is hitting the market on Friday for $79 million, just two months after the area’s first $95 million listing.
The home, at 1040 S Ocean, is owned by LA manufacturing mogul/developer Jim Randall and his wife, Eleanor. This year, the Randalls and their Randall Family Foundation donated $100 million to that city’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
In August, celebrity developer Joe Farrell’s new construction Manalapan home listed for nearly nine digits.
The Randalls bought their property, which was built in 2018, for around $25.75 million in 2020.
The compound sits on 2.1 acres. The main house and guest house together contain eight bedrooms.
Design details include a large great room in the main house along with a chef’s kitchen and a private primary bedroom wing. The manicured, lighted grounds — by landscape architects at Lang Design Group — include 200 feet on the ocean and 200 feet on the Intracoastal.
Outside, there’s also a pool, a new dock and a private boat slip. The rear, open lawn can also hold tented parties for more than 250 people.
The property is around 2 miles south of the beachfront Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa in Manalapan at 100 S Ocean Blvd., and around 7 miles from Mar-a-Lago. Billionaire Oracle founder Larry Ellison recently bought the Eau property for $277.4 million, according to reports.
Ellison is also a Manalapan resident, along with Billy Joel and Tony Robbins.
The listing broker of the $79 million estate is Margit Brandt of Premier Estate Properties, who also has the $95 million listing.
