A pedestrian was fatally struck by a Société de transport de Montréal bus on Tuesday.
The accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on St-Denis St. at the intersection of Rigaud St. in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough.
The identity of the victim has not yet been revealed. He is an 18-year-old man.
“When the police arrived on the scene, they quickly began resuscitation procedures, but unfortunately he was pronounced dead on the scene,” said Sabrina Gauthier, spokesperson for Montreal police.
