2025 Jeep Compass Canadian pricing slashed by $6,000

Base price for 2025 Jeep Compass is now under $35,000 including freight

  • 2025 Jeep Compass Canadian MSRP starts at $34,995 including freight
  • The range tops out at $48,995 for the Compass Limited
  • It is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder good for 200 hp and 221 lb-ft

Standard kit in the Compass Sport includes gear such as an 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen, heated front seats, and active safety gear like forward collision warning with active emergency braking. There’s remote keyless entry and aluminum wheels but you’ll still need to use a key to start the thing. Neighbours will be tipped off to the base nature of the Sport thanks to a lack of fog lamps. Still, it is a decently equipped vehicle with power to all four wheels as standard gear.

Further up the food chain we find the North at $41,995 (was $43,915), Altitude at $46,995 (was $47,415), followed by the gritty Trailhawk and snooty Limited both at $48,995 (were $48,015 and $48,915 respectively). Last year’s Trailhawk Elite has vanished altogether. Whilst prices for some of those other trims haven’t dropped as much as the Sport, or actually increased in one case, it remains a rare day that any prices have dropped at all. This is a Good Thing.

It is worth noting that some 2024 trims currently qualify for rebates which reduce their cost from what is listed above, though those discounts often change with the wind and eligibility. No matter what Compass is chosen, buyers will find a 2.0L four-banger under the hood, making 200 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive are its dance partner.

Through the end of September this year, Jeep has delivered a total of 6,753 Compasses which is about half as much again as they did to this time last year. That’s good enough to make it the second-best selling model in the entire Jeep range, behind only the venerable Wrangler which found over 10,000 new homes to the end of Q3 in Canada.
