Titans’ Mason Rudolph calls out viral Amanda Vance DM exchange: ‘Frame job’

Mason Rudolph has cleared the air on a viral direct message exchange with social media influencer Amanda Vance.

Vance and her boyfriend, Joey Mauriello, both endorsers for Jake Paul’s gambling platform Betr, attended the Titans-Dolphins game in Miami Gardens on Monday in which Rudolph came in for injured starting quarterback Will Levis en route to a 31-12 win.

Mauriello is a Dolphins fan and during the second half of the game, Vance shared a direct message allegedly from Rudolph asking if she was still in Miami.

In a video shared to Instagram, Mauriello lamented that he had to see about a quarterback “in my girlfriend’s DMs as I’m watching him absolutely f–king sell my Dolphins money-line [bet].”

Vance admonished her boyfriend that she had warned him that Rudolph was actually good.

The video seemed to imply the DMs were recent, although the caption was honest about the exchange having happened “months” ago.

Rudolph appeared on Fox Sports Radio’s “Doug Gottlieb Show” on Tuesday and revealed that Vance, a fan of the Steelers, who he previously played for, had actually messaged him first and that his flirtation was merely a response.

“It was not an unsolicited slide into her DMs?” Gottlieb asked.

“No, it was a response and it was about eight months ago,” Rudolph clarified. “It was definitely not in between second down going to third down, that’s for sure…”

As Gottlieb laughed, Rudolph continued, “But a good frame job. A good frame job for a little 15 seconds of fame I guess.”

Rudolph didn’t have gaudy stats against the Dolphins — he was 9-for-17 with 85 yards and no touchdown passes — but the Titans won the game in a blowout.
