TikTok star with over 8 million followers eyed as person of interest in brutal slaying of therapist

A TikTok influencer with over 8 million followers has been identified as a person of interest in the brutal slaying a Louisiana therapist.

Terryon Ishmael Thomas, 20, was busted in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday on charges related to a traffic stop incident in Baton Rouge, WBRZ reported.

He is currently awaiting extradition back to Louisiana, where investigators are eying him in connection with the death of therapist Dr. William Nicholas “Nick” Abraham, 69, the outlet said.

Abraham’s body was found wrapped in a tarp on the side of the road on Sunday morning. He had been beaten to death in what Sheriff Gerald Sticker described as a “very physical, very violent death,” WVUE reported.

It was not immediately clear how Thomas – known as “Mr. Prada” on TikTok, where he has about 8.2 million followers across two accounts –  may be connected with the therapist.

Abraham was accused of molesting an 11-year-old in 2015, though the charges were eventually dropped. Both the East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s Office and Abraham’s lawyer told WBRZ that Thomas was not the alleged victim that case.

Thomas was first tied to the investigation on Monday night, when investigators shared a blurry security image of a then-unidentified young man believed to have been spotted driving Abraham’s black Lincoln MKZ.

The following afternoon, the Baton Rouge Police Department issued a warrant for Thomas’ arrest after he failed to comply with a traffic stop while behind the wheel of the stolen Lincoln.

Thomas supposedly backed the vehicle into the police unit and fled the scene, according to the warrant obtained by WBRZ.

The officer at the stop eventually found the unoccupied vehicle abandoned, with Thomas nowhere in sight.

It was not immediately clear how Thomas got to Dallas, where he was arrested with the help of the US Marshals Task Force, WBRZ reported.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Thomas was still in Dallas awaiting extradition.

Thomas’ latest post on TikTok, which was shared on Sunday, showed him lifting weights and stretching while a Katy Perry song played.

Nick Abraham was last seen on Saturday, when he left his home to clean his car and then told his roommate that he was going to his office to do paperwork, the victim’s family told WBRZ.

Abraham spent 11 years as a Catholic priest before becoming a therapist, according to his website.

He previously appeared on the local cable television channel as a mental health expert, WVUE noted.

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Department, which is handling the investigation, did not immediately return The Post’s request for an update on the case.
