Livvy Dunne reflects on boyfriend Paul Skenes’ first MLB season in new post: ‘My little rookie’

Olivia “Livvy” Dunne is showing some love to her favorite MLB rookie, boyfriend Paul Skenes.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the famed LSU gymnast recapped some of her favorite moments from the Pirates pitcher’s first season in the majors, which came to an end Saturday.

Captioning the post, “My little rookie,” the 21-year-old Dunne is seen cozying up to Skenes, 22, in a series of snaps, including shots from the Pirates’ 9-4 win over the Yankees in The Bronx on Saturday.

In his Yankee Stadium debut, Skenes — the first overall pick in last year’s MLB draft — threw two scoreless innings while Dunne, clad in personalized Pirates boots, watched from the stands.

“Definitely glad to be able to finish the season and cool to do it here, cool to do it against this lineup. Wish I could keep going, but that’s where we’re at,” Skenes said.

“I like New York, the Stadium is one of the destinations in baseball for sure, a place to cross off your bucket list. Cool to be out there and pitch. Definitely going to keep checking it out tomorrow.”

It’s been quite a wild ride for Skenes, who made his official MLB debut in May.

In his first-ever outing, Skenes had seven strikeouts in four innings.

He later earned an All-Star nod and started for the National League in the All-Star Game this past July.

Skenes finished the year with a 1.96 ERA.

As Skenes’ season winds down, Dunne’s is about to pick back up as she and the Lady Tigers look to defend their national title.

Three months after the national championship win, Dunne — a social media sensation who boasts a multi-million dollar NIL valuation — announced she would return to LSU for her fifth season.

“I’ve really found the love, my love for the sport again last year, I’d say. So that’s one of the main reasons why I wanted to come back,” Dunne told The Post’s Jenna Lemoncelli this month.

LSU’s national title “was so exciting for not only our team but the whole university. And that’s a feeling that I want to feel again. It was so special in the bond with the girls.”

Dunne has already given her millions of TikTok followers a peek at how preparations are going, recently posting a video from the gym in her LSU leotard.

“Last year in this palace,” she captioned the clip.
