Like mother, like daughter!
Eva Amurri slipped into her mom Susan Sarandon’s vintage Donna Karan dress for a Metropolitan Opera date night with husband Ian Hock Monday.
“An evening at the @metopera 🥀🎼,” the actress, 39, wrote via Instagram the following day. “Wow what an experience. The show, ‘Grounded’ is so powerful and makes a fantastic statement.”
Amurri, who was “honored to be included in this opening night,” encouraged her followers to “swipe all the way to see” where her backless gown came from.
At the end of the carousel, she posted a photo of Sarandon, 77, flashing a peace sign at the 2003 Academy Awards.
The skintight, floor-length gown featured shoulder cutouts and a daring low back.
Amurri completed her look with a black clutch and gold earrings, wearing her hair in “old Hollywood waves.”
Sarandon was also at the event with her daughter, posing for a selfie in a low-cut black gown of her own. Amurri shared more snaps on her Instagram Story, gushing over her “handsome husband.”
The couple got married in July in New York, one year after Hock, 40, got down on one knee during a Paris vacation.
Amurri walked down the aisle in a Kim Kassas Couture dress — and was slammed by social media haters for baring her cleavage.
The bride hit back at “scandalized” critics, writing that her gown struck the “perfect balance” of “sexy” and “elegant.”
Additionally, she joked that her “size 32F boobs” had just been “minding their business” at the Hudson Valley ceremony.
Later that same month, Amurri noted that similar backlash over the “modest” dress Olivia Culpo wore to marry Christian McCaffrey helped her heal.
“Two women got married on the same day clothed vastly differently, and neither was right. Neither was good enough,” the blogger explained of the “tale as old as time.”
Amurri was previously married to Kyle Martino, with whom she shares daughter Marlowe, 10, and sons Major, 7, and Mateo, 4.
