“Season 2 cast includes well-known media personalities, comedians, YouTube and content creators, athletes, and everyday people such as a wilderness educator, paranormal enthusiast, true crime podcast host, and more,” said a statement from CTV.

Described as a “cunning game of cat and mouse,” Traitors basically works this way: the host picks three people to be the Traitors and the rest are the Faithfuls. Each night, the Traitors get together and murder a Faithful. The whole time the Faithfuls are trying to identify the Traitors. Once identified the Traitors are kicked out the game. If the Faithfuls are able to banish all the Traitors, they will win the final cash prize of up to $100,000. If a Traitor makes it to the end of the competition, the Traitor leaves with all the money.

“With an unknown number of Traitors lurking among them, the Faithful must work together to unmask and banish the Traitors from the game before they themselves are killed off, as the Traitors will assemble in darkness each night to murder a new Faithful, secretly sending them home, betrayed and penniless,” says a statement from the network.
