Former President Donald Trump joked during his Long Island rally Wednesday that he hoped his wife Melania wrote “good things” about him in her upcoming memoir.

The 78-year-old GOP presidential nominee drew cheers and laughter from the raucous Nassau Coliseum crowd when he promoted the former first lady’s book set to be released in October.

“Go out and get her book,” he exclaimed. “She just wrote a book. I hope she said good things about me.”

“Go out and buy it, it’s great. And if she says bad things about me I’ll call you all up and I’ll say don’t buy it, get rid of it,” Trump quipped as his supporters chuckled.

Melania Trump, 54, has ramped up publicity for the book, called “Melania,” in recent weeks.

The former first lady said in a previous video post online she hopes to give readers “the truth,” claiming she’s been a victim of “misrepresentation” during her spouse’s time in the spotlight.
